Curriculum
The Central Coast Jazz Institute possesses one of the largest privately owned libraries of transcribed solo material from the works of the jazz worlds greats. Students are provided specifically tailored material to study, practice and analyize to help enable them to understand the concepts and inner workings of the music. Each lesson is a hands on private instruction from CCJIʼS Charlie Shoemake. Included in the lessons are the basic elements of jazz music (melody, rhythm, and harmony)
